Privacy Policy

Effective Date: October 29, 2026 • Version 2.3

1. Summary & Core Commitment

ClipStruct (“the App”), developed by Aditya Shinde (“Developer”), is engineered with an uncompromising privacy-by-design architecture. ClipStruct does not collect, transmit, store, sell, or analyze any user data, personal information, or clipboard contents.

2. Clipboard Data & Local Storage

When you copy items (text, code, links, images, hex colors), ClipStruct stores this history strictly in your Mac's local application container (~/Library/Application Support/ClipStruct or your sandboxed application container).

  • Your clipboard contents never leave your physical device.
  • No cloud servers, sync relays, or third-party databases are utilized.
  • You can delete your history at any time directly through the app or by deleting the local database.

3. Zero Network Entitlements

ClipStruct does not request or possess any outbound network entitlements in its Apple App Sandbox configuration. The application is technically incapable of establishing connections to the internet, sending telemetry, or communicating with remote servers.

4. Password Manager & Sensitive Data Protection

ClipStruct actively honors Apple's standard org.nspasteboard.ConcealedType pasteboard flag and implements automated exclusions for popular password managers including 1Password, Bitwarden, Proton Pass, KeePass, and MacPass. Content marked as sensitive is never saved or recorded in your clipboard history.

5. Analytics, Tracking & Cookies

ClipStruct contains zero analytics SDKs, zero crash tracking frameworks (such as Firebase, Sentry, or Google Analytics), and zero advertising trackers. The promotional website at clipstruct.shindeaditya.com does not set tracking cookies.

6. Open Source Transparency

ClipStruct is licensed under the MIT License and its source code is publicly accessible on GitHub at github.com/HeyShinde/ClipStruct. You can inspect every pasteboard interaction and verify our security claims independently.
